just another beast of burden like most of you. paying bills by day, making weird sounds at night.

predominantly concerned with the potential sounds of electric string instruments. this has been guitar and bass guitar for most of my life, but more recently i have been exploring the tenor guitar and baritone ukulele as well. recordings featuring these instruments to come soon. i also dabble in drums and i am most proficient with the "piano" (keyboard for the sake of space and finances). sometimes you might hear the sounds of synths from me, but more than likely, if it sounds like a synth, it's an electric guitar.

since i adopted the name benjamin da ass, i have only released instrumental compositions. there is a collection of lyrical songs that have been in the works forever and maybe someday soon those will go out. mostly just need to find time to produce them properly.

conceptually the music bounces between two spaces. i am either composing in an attempt to convey what is the world and experiences around us, and to me that mostly means a lot of stress, drudgery, violence, hate, and the myriad of ways we try to cope with these things, or else i am composing from a place of escapism. just textures and sounds to get lost in and let the reality of this terrible world wash away for a few minutes at a time.
