you might care less, but this is huge for me.

sometime ago, i decided that i would properly mix and master a couple of the “musings” i had recorded a few years back. i liked a few of the compositions, and wanted to do them justice, and wanted to procrastinate writing new music.

whatta nightmare.

i obviously put zero effort in producing those recordings. at least 2 of the 4 were recorded during the week in the few hours between getting home at night from work and going to sleep. and this was during my “tone knob stays on 10” phase. yikes.

but after a very long struggle, i got them to a point where they are as good as they’re going to be. and the extent to which they’re lo-fi is part of what makes them special. they’re little guitar diary entries, pretty mood. i can’t communicate how happy i was to listen back to them last week and know that i was finally done.
